"Wonder" Book Club
We will read R. J. Palacio's beloved "Wonder" this Fall. This moving book will change how readers think about themselves and other people. Have fun after school and meet some new friends. Beginning September 21, we will meet Thursdays (2:30-3:30) in the library. Book Club is not only free, but when you join, you get a free copy of the book!* For an application, see Book Master Dwyer, Mrs. Mills, or print one off this page. Club communications will go through our Google Classroom which members will join during the first session. Since parents can be included in communications, there is a spot on this application for a parental email address. Book Club is only open to the first 25 members. View the below button to see how many spots are left. The web page also features our calendar which estimates how many sessions we will meet. The theatrical version releases on November 17. With this in mind, our final session will be online (Google Classroom) as we compare and contrast the book with the film. –Mrs. Mills & Mr. Dwyer
Now available: print an application off and return it to Book Master Dwyer!
Google Classroom will be our online home. It is there that announcements and weekly reading assignments will be posted. The class code will be given at the first session. Parents can even follow along!
When you arrive at each week's session, sign-in. You will do this by going on a library computer, visiting this page, and finding that day's attendance form. Then you will type your first and last name and click SUBMIT.
