Input on the future of CCSD buildings

CCSD is developing a Facility Master Plan, “Building Brighter Futures," to guide decisions on how to provide every student with access to a safe, modern school building. Please take this survey to rate your preferences for school options.

We will weigh community preferences while making decisions that are financially responsible and focused on the best outcomes for students.

Additionally, CCSD has several upcoming community forums to gather input on the new Facilities Master Plan.

Community forums are scheduled throughout the county until Tuesday, May 19, 2026. 

  • Each forum is intentionally spread across the District and will cover options for the immediate neighborhood. 

  • If community members can't attend their local forum, they have the option to attend a virtual meeting. 

  • Additionally, community members can attend more than one forum.

Here are all upcoming in-person and virtual community forums:

  • Tuesday, May 5, 2026, at Moapa Valley High School, 2400 St. Joseph St., Overton, NV 89040 (6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.)

  • Wednesday, May 6, 2026, at Foothill High School, 800 College Dr., Henderson, NV 89002 (6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.)

  • Wednesday, May 6, 2026, at William E. Orr Middle School, 1562 E. Katie Ave., Las Vegas, NV 89119 (6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.) (IN SPANISH)

  • Saturday, May 9, 2026, AM Virtual Forum (10 a.m. to noon) (IN SPANISH)

CCSD, alongside CannonDesign, utilized feedback from 18 community forums held in the Spring of 2025, along with enrollment trends, facility evaluations, and other data to develop possible options that balance current and future needs for the District buildings.
